Alinity Divine

Alinity was a plaintiff in a suit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo is a California Twitch user who filed an action against Twitch seeking damages in the amount of $25 million. He claimed that the site exposed him sexually explicit videos by female streamers. Based on court documents that were obtained by Dexerto, the plaintiff, who had previously filed suit against Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, filed the formal complaint to the court on June 15, seeking a suit, and Twitch was served an official summons on June 19. The complaint states that, according to it made in the Santa Clara Superior Court of California, Estavillo suffers from various medical conditions that force his reliance on the internet for all of his entertainment. He also suffers from as a disorder called obsessive compulsive and sexual addiction that according to the complaint Twitch is only making worse. The complaint continued to name a few female streamers who it believes "continues to expose viewers who are just looking to catch gamers playing games on Twitch however, they are exposed to sexually addictive material and content on a consistent regularly and daily basis." Alinity was not listed. The complaint seeks relief, the group wants to permanently block all streamers that have broken the Twitch ToS. $25 million in compensation is sought, "to be divided between plaintiff and the other Twitch primary Turbo subscribers" with the remainder being donated to charitable organizations.
