Vinita Nair

She started at the station in July 2004, and has since reported extensively on various topics, including her report on the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation as well as school shootings at Bailey, Colorado. Nair began working for ABC News as an anchor/correspondent for ABC News Now in December 2007. She was responsible for anchoring live news coverage, along with briefings on ABC's online networks. Nair served as co-anchor on World News Now, America This Morning, and ABC's digital network starting on September 17th, from 2008 until February 18, 2011. Nair was co-anchor with Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson in both shows. Nair announced to the viewers of World News Now that she did not plan to appear in World News Now after Friday 18th February 2011. It would also be her final day at ABC News. Former KDVR Denver anchor Peggy Bunker was her replacement immediately. In each of the three segments of the World News Now's February 18 program, Nair was honored by former and current colleagues such the late Jeremy Hubbard. In her last day she treated her entire team to breakfast. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
