Annabelle Gurwitch is an American writer, comedian and TV host who is most well-known for her role as hostess of Dinner and a Movie on TBS and activist in the environment and secular humanism. Annabelle Gurwitch, a New York Times Best-Seller author as well as a an internationally acclaimed actor, was the New York Times's Bestselling author of her memoirs: Whatever You're Doing, They are I See That You Did An Effort Say Tomato You Say Fired I say Shut Up and Fired. Showtime Comedy Special. Gurwitch is best known for her time as host of TBS Dinner & a Movie. In addition, she has appeared on TV shows like Better Things Boston Legal Seinfeld Dexter Murphy Brown. The shows she has appeared on regularly include PBS Newhour Real Time Bill Maher as well as NPR. In addition, she has written op eds, which are featured in the New York Times WSJ The Hollywood Reporter and satires for The New Yorker & McSweeneys.
