Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter for the UFC's flyweight division. She is older than her fellow UFC fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, who is a Muay Thai kickboxer, began her career in fight sport at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was victorious in this event by unanimously defeating Suzane Miller. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007, an award of bronze in 2008 and then a gold in 2011. Then she was named IFMA World Amateur Muay Thailand Champion 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia's professional career began in 2003. In 2012, she took home her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, the WMC World Championships. Antonina was a part of Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas's fight last at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was achieved by an unanimous decision. Antonina Shychenko's first professional MMA debut took place in 2002 at the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan when she faced Anara Bayanova. She took the win via second-round TKO and also won her subsequent 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003. She compiled an overall record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a short time off from MMA and devoted her time to kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 when she fought Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote and then defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina's superior strike skills let her TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Antonina's UFC contract was extended in the wake of this win. Antonina Shychenko debuted for the UFC in the TUF Heavy Hitters finals against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko fell to Roxanne Modafferi via split decision following her debut fight. Antonina recovered from this loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. She was awarded the prize of fight-of-the-night. Shevchenko went 2-2 in her next 3 fights. She beat Ariane Lipski, but fell to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was defeated by Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
